The Designers

Avonté

Pia and Marlene are friends and colleagues. They met in the fashion industry in 2017 and worked together as a team in the industry for several years. During this time, they embarked on several joint trips to production facilities in Portugal. There, they encountered the issue of textile waste - warehouses filled with remnants of the industry. This issue stuck with them, and they decided to take action together. In 2023, they founded avonté - a sustainable lifestyle brand that brings textile industry remnants back into circulation, thus utilizing what is already available.

Their unisex pyjamas are available as limited editions, due to the nature of using up deadstock textiles.
